Objectives: The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation between life-style factors and gastric cancer in Korea and to study the factors of prevention.
Methods: This paper is designed to survey mental and dietary factors of 202 gastric cancers. The data was collected by means of telephone and contacted interview in 2002.
Results: These are correlation of between life-style factor and gender in gastric cancer, smoking(OR=7.l8,CI=2.82-18.29), and alcohol in 1 month(OR=3.l3,CI=1.43-6.86). These are correlation of between life style factor and age in gastric cancer, quantity of a meal, control of stress, allowing of stress, meat taking in 1 month, and roast meat taker.
Conclusions: We should learn to live healthily from life-style factors. Gastric cancer prevention is to be fostered for the promotion of health by control the life-style factors.
